Suzie Koo

 Ms. Koo is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the California Association of Realtors (CAR) and the Women’s Council of Realtors.    She holds e-Pro designation and is a New Home Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Through her involvement with the global business alliance of the CIPS Association, Ms. Koo has been privileged to work with REALTORS across the county to build better communities and improve quality of life through property ownership.  As she moves forward in her career, she intends to continue making an impact on the real estate industry and focus on her clients and the community.

Suzie Koo is a veteran real estate professional with 25 years of experience. Ms.Koo has achieved professional success through her specialty in brokerage services.  In addition to real estate development and land investment, she excels in the purchase and sale of residential properties, including luxury homes of the rich and famous, as well as commercial properties.  Born and raised in Taiwan, Suzie learned to speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English.  She moved to the U.S. in 1973 and received her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. 

 At a very young age, Suzie embraced a strong work ethic as she undertook on a variety of jobs.  She was a translator and tour guide for Sony Corporation in Japan.  She spent several years as an executive secretary for an export and import company.  She later became an executive administrator for Lykes International, a subsidiary of the largest garment wholesaler and manufacture in Taiwan.

  Suzie family’s focus and investment in real estate in Taiwan and Southern California influenced her growing up.  Consequently, she became extremely interested in real estate development and had an opportunity form a real estate development and construction company with two partners.  She worked with city and county planning agencies, consulted with architects, engineers and neighborhood association as well as other stakeholders in the development process.  That experience provided her with an invaluable opportunity in the development world. 

Ms. Koo also greatly values education.  She believes it is important to educate oneself and understand that the education is a non-stop life-long process.  This philosophy has served as a solid foundation to build her successful career.  The power of education and its important role to do the analysis that is required to invest profitably in real estate, no matter which direction the market is going in. Suzie helps her clients create wealth by advising them on real estate investment opportunities. 

The clients are her business and she is here to meet their needs. On the buyer’s side, she helps to determine the client’s specific needs and work hard to find a dream home that fit their tastes and requirements at a price they can afford. On the seller’s side, she has an extensive and effective marketing plan to obtain the maximum value for the client’s property and work with the client on a customized approach to target and pre-screen prospective buyers.  She goes above and beyond her call of duty as a real estate agent with the training in 1031 exchanges and helps her clients to defer paying capital gains taxes on the sale of investment properties by exchanging them with like-kind properties. 

 Ms .Koo embodies a leading example of what a successful real estate agent should be – someone who works hard to serve her clients and as a result, has a great volume of sales, knowledge, commitment and experience. Since her career beginnings, Ms Koo has garnered several awards and designations for her professional efforts. Most recently, she received the notable CIPS global designation and was recognized as a certified international property specialist.  She was awarded recognition by Coldwell Banker and received the International President’s Premier’s Award, which highlights the Top 1% of Coldwell Banker producers worldwide.    For 8 consecutive years, Ms. Koo was presented with the #1 Top Producer recognition at Coldwell Banker Temple Branch and was honored with the Realty World Multi-Million Dollar Top Producers Club Award for an additional seven. She joined Man Investment Group/Man Realty, the #1 on line real estate company in 2009.  She quantified the immediate need to embrace the internet as a central marketing channel and implement the sophisticated traffic generation. The combination of on line internet real estate searching and tradition real estate marketing can provide the most efficient service to the clients at present and in the future.
